Good morning
I am translating a spreadsheet which contains a series of doctors' opinions/comments about a medical device (stent).
I am wondering about "técnica" here, and do not think "technique" is suitable. I have tentatively thought about "technical aspects" and would value your opinions. Or maybe it is "technique", i.e. in how the device is fitted?

Good morning, Liz.
Started to write this and then ormiston's answer came in ... but I'll post this anyway since it's a shade different.
The way I understand this, it's referring to the surgeons' technique, the way they perform the operation when placing the stent. Therefore I think your first impulse to use 'technique' is fine.
See the example sentences below (I don't do references as well as you do!)
Hope this helps you ... I think you were on the right track to start with.

Actually, here are some examples of the use of 'technique' in a more general sense, instead of speaking about a specific technique:
" The effect of surgical technique was examined using a stepwise approach that considered its impact on two levels of perioperative and postoperative events."
"Morbidity and mortality rates are now less than 5% as a result of improvements in surgical technique and perioperative care ... "
" We are passionate about our work, and strive for excellence in surgical technique and patient care. "
I thnk these examples give the flavor of using 'technique' in this context.

I think your suggestion is best Liz. Both terms are used in medical contexts:
