My ideal internship would be one in which I would be able to combine my medical and translation knowdledges. I hope to gain meaningful value from the experience. My plans as a future linguist are to be a professional translator and editor mainly in the medical and literary field, but also having experience translating other topics as well. And in the long term I would like to become an editor in the academic field, it could be medical or of other kind.

I am committed to creating an outstanding career. I believe guidance, focus, and resilience are the key tools in achieving any goal. An internship would be perfect to develop the essential experience that is expected of professionals in my field. "Versatility and Creativity" is my motto. Therefore, any company or individual that gives me the opportunity, can be sure to get a translator full of originality and flexibility to adapt to any style of work.

I plan to pursue an MA or MPS in Chinese>English translation, but would like to begin honing my skills ASAP. My ideal internship would challenge me to grow and improve while respecting my current limitations. Unpaid work is acceptable, but only for a short duration, and I would expect to get helpful feedback on my performance.

My ideal internship would be working in professional environment where I can get hands on experience in the entire project life cycle.Along with actual translation work I would also like to understand briefly tools infrastructure,management and business aspects of the project. Currently I can work part time from remote location.However in coming years I plan to work as full time translator. As I learn and grow I would also like to offer services in subtitling, voice over and interpreting.

From an internship, I don't expect to merely have a paper that certifies that I've been working, but rather a practical knowledge that I don't already possess.

From that internship, I expect to first practise more than now and build a good profile for future career prospects. Living in Cameroon, it will be advantageous for me to do a remote internship which will help me improve on my competences in Web localisation and in general translation, particularly from English to French or from German to French. This internship will contribute a lot to make me gain experience in translation and website localisation.

My expectations about the intership are that I think it can make me have a better view of the translation area and improve my language, work management and organization skills, It is very important for my future plans, I really need more work experience to be able to deliver a better result as I want to remain on this area and create deep roots with clients and companies.
