español term

mandatario verbal

español al inglés Jurídico/Patentes Derecho: contrato(s) lease agreement
Is this the same as apoderado, and can I translate both as "attorney-in-fact"? It's a lease agreement where one of the parties is described as "mandatario verbal" and the other as "apoderado", although both sound like the same thing. Thank you.

You can choose any of these three possibilities. The only one I left out is "president" as in "of a country"

disagree James Arthur Williamson : None of these. The evidence given by a verbally-appointed representative needs to be corroborated by the principal. Therefore, not a legal representative of any jind whatsoever. More like a mere spokesperson that the principal may contradict later.
