In the context of a hand-drawn Mesoamerican codex, I can't imagine what this means (this is the entire paragraph):

I am not sure about the best way to express it in English, but for me it is clear what is meant by SOPORTE (notice the typo!) : the medium, that is, paper or sheepskin or whatever was used to write on it, and format, well, you know what that is -- the way the information is presented visually

| I don't think so. The subject of "saltan" is "características," and "europeos" is plural because it modifies both formato and soporte. Also "codices" is the correct plural codex in English. But thanks for trying! |
