La palabra está en la siguiente oración:

... la integración del negocio con la construcción de ++++dormies++++ y un centro comercial.

No pongo más contexto pues no es necesario para entender el término. El texto está describiendo lo que tiene un Country Club (club de campo). Sé lo que son en español pero no sé cuál es el equivalente en inglés.

Encontré lo siguiente con respecto a la definición en español:

los dormies son unidades de condominio que se realizan dentro de los countries. Por lo general tienen amplia área deportiva compartida con el club, no poseen jardín propio, salvo algunas excepciones. Existen desde monoambientes a partir de 42 m2 hasta los de 4 ambientes que promedian los 110 m2.

UK English "Condominiums" is not a term in general use in UK, although Brits who have had holidays in the USA might understand it. I will post a UK English suggestion.

Hi Jonathan and all, thanks for your answers. I don't know exactly what dormies is here because I don't have any descriptions or pictures-just the word. It looks like it's used in Argentina a lot, even though I haven't heard the word until now- I think condominium could work here. I know this word is very much used in the US, but can anyone tell me if it is also used in England? (this translation is in British English and goes to the UK).

I have a house in a country club and this is where guests or visitors can stay if you don't have enough room or for whatrever other reason :)

I don't think there's an English equivalent for this, so assuming your definition is correct, this is what I'd say.

agree Charles Davis : There are plenty of adverts on the Internet for "dormies" in Argentina. It seems to be standard usage there. "Domi(e)", though rarer, is also found and may be the original form.

Coincido con Ma. Eugenia en que seguramente adoptaron un término del inglés, pero ya que aparentemente solo se usa en Argentina, mejor sería traducirlo por otro término más comúnmente adoptado

leasehold managed apartments

This would work in UK provided I am correct in thinking:
1. The owners buy a leasehold interest in the apartments and a management company owns the freehold
2. The management company is responsible for things such as central heating, lifts (elevators), stairwells, etc.
