It's the ethics that are joint. The Standard of Care is an optional inclusion, so can be excluded to make the answer terser. BTW, it's cuidado and not ciudad.

My focus had been on Joint Ethical Protocol as no clarification so far of what the latter contains.

Discussion
In the end, after asking the client to clarify the meaning of such term, he decided to eliminate it, because even they didnt know what was it about.
