Hello colleagues! Happy Holidays!
I am translating a document about the “satisfaction of a judgment”.
It goes:
The debtor shall immediately give written notice to the owner of record of the judgment and to the owner's attorney of record ... stating the amount, date and purpose of the deposit, and that it is held subject to the order of the *judgment owner*.
In my understanding, “owner" here refers to the beneficiary and therefore “judgment owner” would be “beneficiario de la sentencia”. Am I on the right track? I would appreciate your help very much.
