I have a small office at the back of my apartment (far from the street noise) which overlooks a beautiful terrace with a vertical garden belonging to the hotel next door.

Basically, I see nothing but trees, the sky and the corner of a house when I look outside. During the summer the trees minimize the traffic noise, and during the winter the windows are closed anyway.

I'm sitting at a Taco Bell restaurant, where I just looked over, after downing a bean burrito and a root beer, at the table next to mine, and feasted my eyes on a really good looking guy in casual business attire having his lunch, too.

Perhaps different people respond each time. Sure, I like variety. But it gets hard, I imagine, to keep coming up with new topics. I would much rather have recycled questions than go on for days with the same poll showing on the home page. (I think the one about how much work we got in July was up for at least a week.)
Besides, on a question like this one, sometimes someone posts a pretty picture to brighten my day!
BTW, my view is of my apartment wall. My windows are metal louvers and are kept closed because of the a/c, so I don't see outdoors at all. However, I have pretty things and family photos on my wall, and I usually step out onto my balcony on my hourly breaks.

I look out over my community's common area of grass, trees, and homes. The Association removed a lot of mature trees and the replacements are still quite young. Since our last discussion on this topic, I have donated an Arbutus marina (Marina Strawberry) that I can see from my desk. It's about 15 feet tall now.

There are some lovely views here.
I would have a lovely view of the Quantock Hills if our house were considerably taller. As it is, it's mainly rooftops.
