Hi! I apologize if this topic has arisen before, but I don't quite know how to look for previous posts because I don't know how to call this problem (writing the topic subject for this post was hard for me!!)
This is my problem. I am using Trados 2006. This is my problem. I am using Trados 2006. When I finish translating a segment and I press "alt" plus the numeric pad "+" sign ("Set/Close Next Open/Get"), Trados jumps to the next segment, as it should, but the document scrolls a wee bit up and the source text of the segment I need to translate is out of sight; all I see is the yellow box, but not the blue one.
(Let me know if you need me to upload a screenshot).
This is no HUGE problem, but it does force me to move over to the mouse and scroll up, and I don't need to explain to you how annoying and time-wasting that is.
Did anybody ever encounter this problem, and, if so, how did you solve it?
I have tried changing the size of the Word window, closing unnecessary toolbars and scrolling down enough to have the segment I am translating at the bottom of the screen before I hit alt+, but nothing works.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Trados is an industrial tool and therefore training is critical. Make sure you receive training about this tool at some local training center. It will make your life easier and you will save tons of time. Good luck! | |

Thanks, Tomás. I did take Trados training a few years ago. Unfortunately, since I don't use the software every day, I lose practice. Besides, the yearly OS re-installation I do to my PC often changes my preferences. All this combined, gets me in the kind of trouble I described in my post.
Thanks God we have this forum (and others, too)!
