Without more context, it is hard to know. I read it as "a product that has become a tradition" (in the tone of a product advertisement). Is that what this is? (An ad?) Thx!

Tequila, a product that became a tradition

Something that becomes a tradition, like asking for candy on halloween, it's something that became a tradition. Tequila was justa drink, then became a mexican tradition to celebrate or party...

I wouldn't put an "a" before tradition, for TRADITION is a concept
