I agree with Jessica's answer when it's possible to add a note, but if not then I think my suggestion comes closest to the taste.
Definitely not 'hot' potatoes, because that could mean boiled or baked, which bravas are not. Nor are they fried enough to be crisp like chips.
The potatoes are cut up into small chunks. The accompanying dressing varies from place to place, even from bar to bar, but the most usual is aïoli (garlic mayonnaise). Often they come with tomato ketchup too, anyway here in Valencia.
