español term

Director / Jefe / Responsable (de Recursos Humanos)

español al inglés Negocios/Finanzas Negocios / Comercio (general) Positions within a comany (Human Resources department)
A document that I am translating contains three different terms for human resource positions. Orginally I considered them to mean the same thing, but apparently they are three different positions so I was wondering how to make a distinction between them.

Director de Recursos Humanos
Jefe de Recursos Humanos
Responsable de Recursos Humanos.

Director/Head/Manager (of Human Resources)

is what I would use
If it's a large organisation, the Director probably only has overseeing reponsability, whilst the Head actually directs operations, assisted by a Manager (who is qitre possibly a "Deputy Head")
I generally reserve "Chief" for USA terminology.
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Jefe and responsable normally mean the same thing, but it looks like they may be different here.
