Coincido en que feeling en este contexto hace pensar sobre todo en intuición o visión, también en sus variantes, adivinación, premonición y otras variantes (que parencen meros matices) resultan menos recomendables, por lo que se explicará a continuación.
Es difícil traducir el concepto, sobre todo cuando ha sido acuñado aparentemente por una gurú de la autoayuda (sin desmerecerla), Elizabeth Gould. La propia Elizabeth Gould también se anda con muchos rodeos y explicaciones para definir FEELING FORWARDS. Tal es el caso de otros gurús del desarrollo personal como Tony Robins que loa el libro FEELING FORWARDS de ELIZABETH GOULD.
Dicho esto y centrándonos en la autoayuda y el desarrollo personal:
En el artículo "Wayfaring [viaje/trazar el camino]: A Scholarship of Possibilities or Let’s not get drunk on abstraction" de Ann L. Cunliffe se usa foresight como sinónimo de feeling foward:
"Wayfaring is not just travelling a path and noticing, it also involves foresight or feeling forward, i.e. “opening up a path and improvising a passage” (Ingold, 2013: 69)—making sure that we are attentive to where we may be going. Foresight can be equated with anticipation and conjecture, not in the sense of prediction or finalizing something, but by elaborating possible futures by paying attention to what is going on around us by looking, listening and questioning. As such, it means being poised between imagination, anticipation and the concreteness of our feet on the ground. "

No creo que la idea para validar una respuesta sea avasallar con ejemplos que no se refieren directamente al término usado por ELIZABETH GOULD.
Es difícil traducir el concepto, sobre todo cuando ha sido acuñado aparentemente por una gurú de la autoayuda (sin desmerecerla), Elizabeth Gould.
