Hit the mark of 2,400 entries for my idiomatic dictionary project. This is a breath of fresh air for me, as I'm doing something that's more fun than a bag of worms... and educational too. It takes a lot of research and dedication. One thing for sure: the internet is riddled with mistranslated idioms!

Second failed attempt at an attorney-client interpretation conference on Zoom. Deponent didn't show up. After a 15-minute wait, the lawyer dismissed me and the court reporter. Good thing: I'll get paid the full rate.

Just finished my second book, "The Greenness of Springtime: Alberto Caeiro's Poetry in Translation", from PT to EN; approx. 44K words. I enjoyed every minute of it. Book to be released later this month or in early Feb.
Just finished "A Whisper in the Wind", my first book of selected poetry in translation. It will be a bilingual edition in EN & PT, lavishly illustrated, with poems by Rumi, Fernando Pessoa, Robert Frost, Patrícia Galvão, Olavo Bilac, and others. It's been a great experience putting this book together.
