If work comes, yes, although I will probably take 25 December off whatever happens.

I will mostly be away, visiting friends and family, going for walks and enjoying some time off.

Yes! Dec 12, 2014

I will take the 19th off (my daughter's birthday) and the 25th and 26th... and then I'll be back working hard as I have 3 big projects on hand to be delivered in the beginning of 2015.

Yes Dec 12, 2014

Just the usual regular work that may come in from my direct non-agency clients. If I'm lucky, it will be minimal and doable without putting a damper on my "holiday" activities.

Not this year Dec 12, 2014

But I did last year, taking off only the 25th, 26th, 31st and 1st of January.

No Dec 12, 2014

It's not a holiday if you're working, duh

But no, I don't plan to work during the period formerly known as Christmas

Although if someone offers me enough money I might take the odd little thing

I hadn't planned to, but a ton of work just came in. I can't say "no" too often or my name will go to the bottom of the pile.

There's always work, especially in December, so I will take off when I get the chance to... just like any other day of the year.

yes Dec 12, 2014

I don't go home for Christmas, so I don't see any point in taking the time off.

Which holidays? Dec 12, 2014

Xmas is a regular working day over here, like Xmas eve and Boxing day. So, I'll probably be working (and drowning my sorrows). Humbug!

Holidays are the New Year Holidays, January 1st to 3rd. Most people will stop working around the 29th or 30th and will be back in the office from around the 5th onwards.

Holidays are the New Year Holidays, January 1st to 3rd. Most people will stop working around the 29th or 30th and will be back in the office from around the 5th onwards.

But I have a sneaking feeling that one particular customer will throw work in my general direction. So, I might be working. Humbug! But, then again, I might give him the New Year greeting 2-finger salute.

Not this year Dec 12, 2014

Done that too many times.

This year we are escaping for Christmas at home in Scotland.
My Mum is 93 so we want to spend as much time as we can with her while we have the chance.
Next Saturday we hit the road .... but in the meantime I have a load of work to do, no time even to pack!
