"certificación literal" is the certificate that contains all the relevant information in birth, marriage or death certs while the "abstracto" contains only the basic information related to the same. If you go onto the website of the Civil Register of Spain, they will offer you the option of ordering either a "literal" or "extracto" of your certificate if your marriage or birth cert is registered there.
