: "To dismiss" or "dismissal" is even better. And I also know Becerra, and may well do even more than he does in this area. A note is advisable, and my suggestion there is in the glossary.

even to withdraw from injunction (Juicio de Amparo)
MMm... creo que el juicio de amparo es una figura propia de México. Lo más parecido sería 'injunction'. También se puede dejar en español

: Yes. A juicio de amparo in Mexico is different from one in Argentina. It seems it would be better to leave the term AMPARO.

Por eso aclaré "lo más parecido sería...". Injunction is a remedy which requires to or refrain from doing something

withdraw from the hearing to stay (the proceeding)
In this context "juicio" means hearing as opposed to a trial which would be the same term in a different context.
Discussion
amparo 1. (Mex) amparo [appeal for relief under the Constitution in a case of violation of civil rights. This is a constitutional remedy aimed at preserving the rghts and freedoms established by the Federal Constitution from legislative acts, acts of authority and court decisions, as well as preserving local and federal sovereignty in interstate and federal-state disputes.]
Becerra says that juicio de amparo is also knows as amparo de garantías or juicio de garantías. He also defines demanda de amparo as petition for constitutional relief under a writ of amparo, THUS, Smarttranslators is correct in the use of the word amparo in the translation.
