scirrhous swelling
The technical word for "tumefacción" is in fact "tumefaction", which naturally means "swelling". But just for the record, medical professionals always use more common words (in English I mean).
As for "escirrosa", the term is "scirrhous"
Scirrhous: hard or indurated.
In this case, it means the swelling was actually hard instead of flabby.
Hope it helps!

cirrhosed swelling
cirrhosis-related swelling or something like that
a pure guess I'm afraid, but the cirrhosis bit may just help :) - ... or may be a total red herring :(
worth pursuing at least?

: this is not to do with liver disease. Liver cirrhosis - myDr.com.au If your liver is cirrhosed it no longer filters out toxins effectively. .... When the liver is cirrhosed, it does not filter medications as effectively as .../it is still incorrect

I never mentioned the liver! cirrhosis simply means hardening, and can happen anywhere in the body. Cirrhosis of the liver = in oldfashioned layman's terms "hardening of the liver". But in any case this was only meant to get the ball rolling, viz the CR
