WI is a well defined and understood term in the O&G industry, I have not seen any proper and accepted translation of it. I would use it as is.
I was curious and did some searching and reading on the internet
the only thing that I found was that CESPA (Spanish Oil and Gas Co.) used the term as is in one of their annual reports.
