Matizados comes from the verb "matizar", which you probably knew already, but in case you didn't, you do now! :-) According to WordReference, it means things like "to blend", "vary" or "qualify". I think "varied" would probably fit best in this context. It may even be possible to say "wide range of concepts/ideas/notions". But I wouldn't say "qualified" here - it sounds slightly odd, at least to me.
