Heard of Crafted Freelancers?

I received a translation request for 90 pages and these people claimed they are doing it on behalf of the publication since I picked it up that it's from a published book.

I accepted the offer and good money honestly but I requested higher rates cause I knew I am going to put my heart into the work and spent 2 weeks of days and nights and weekends working on it.

The assignment was divided into two parts, and I had completed both parts but yet submitted the first part only to see how they go with the payment. Last Tuesday 29 Oct they sent me a remittance advice claiming they've made the payment and I noticed since then the money hasn't come through.

They insisted that they've made the payment and it should be an issue with my bank and asked that I proceed with the second submission but I refused. Called the bank this morning and guess what, there was no pending credit to my account.

So I start to get into the realisation of things and I googled their name and came across this page.

I am so heart broken not only because I had made some hopeful plans and dreams on the money but also because I went through sleepless nights to get this done and just feel used and abused....

Terrible feeling honestly.

Hope this becomes more of an awareness for all of us (and myself to begin with) to do more research before accepting a task
