Description Guidelines with specific action plans to become a dual-language video remote interpreter (VRI). This webinar provides basic knowledge, understanding and guided practice to start developing your talents as a bilingual remote video interpreter or to consolidate your understanding and abilities if you are a dialogue VRI already. You will learn specifics about the profession and the environment in which it is practiced, the profile and the skills needed. Special attention is given to achieving the highest level of professionalism in the rendering of dialogue VRI services. Actual practice is encouraged in different aspects such as video etiquette, performing before the camera; customer service and technical troubleshooting. Translators who wish to become full-time or part-time interpreters. Learning objectives This webinar provides a fantastic guide to start preparing to work as a dialogue VRI, understanding the core concepts and the practice exercises you will need to undertake to develop fluency in the modality of remote video (language) interpreting.
