Description Guidelines with specific action plans to become an over-the-phone-interpreter (OPI). This webinar provides all the basic knowledge, understanding and guides to practice to start developing your talents as a telephone interpreter or to consolidate your understanding and abilities if you are an OPI already. You will learn specifics about the profession and the environment in which it is practiced, the profile and the skills needed. Special attention is given to achieving the highest level of professionalism in the rendering of OPI services. Actual practice is encouraged in different aspects such as customer service skills and the handling of the session. Learning objectives This webinar serves as a foundation to start working as an OPI, understanding the core concepts but also receiving suggestions as to practice exercises to develop fluency in the modality of telephone interpreting.
