Well - my email account for work gets about 200 emails a day. about 50 of them are from work related mailing lists, 2-3 are "usual business mail" from clients or so.

The rest is spam, which I delete immediately after having seen the headline (using the very useful software MailWasher).

depends what 'work-related' means May 11, 2007

I get about 100-150 non-spam emails per day, but most of these are traffic from various e-groups (ITI, IoL, payment practices lists etc). Personal messages addressed to me about jobs - it varies a lot.

At the start of a project I may have as many as 20 May 12, 2007

Once I start working, there's no reason to receive more until I finish or a new job comes along.

Thinking "job offers" I clicked 0-10 (thank God). And then it hit me (after Muriel), when working with a team, it rises more to around the 25 figure.

Many of my clients skype & phone me, so my answer was 0 - 10. Now, when I correct the proofs of a book, it amounts 20.
