What? Install a software into my brains? No, never! You are crazy. I am all back to the wilderness, then.

I would never allow anything to be installed in my brain. These "smart homes" are horrible enough and prone to be hacked. Imagine what they could do to your brain. No, I would never let it happen, neither in this nor in any other life.
Run off to the other end of the galaxy or somewhere safe. | Aug 25, 2019 |
The very last thing I want is to become a robot! The idea of automating my brain in a Borg-like system would make me run, run, run, run, run, run...

I would wait a bit for all the bugs to be worked out, then I would be happy to give it a whirl. There's so much I want to read in different languages and so little time to learn languages. I for one will be happy when Google Translate gets to the point where it can produce translations that don't melt my brain, especially for Chinese and Korean.

I will never use it. My brain is sacred.

If they really will be able to install such a code into a human brain, it makes sense to wait a little and go for telepathy then)
Not use it ever | Aug 25, 2019 |
Running away wouldn't solve the problem if it's still in my head. I would leave it untouched and work around it.
devolve instead of improve? | Aug 26, 2019 |
Why would one want to become limited in one's abilities? Devolution doesn't seem to be a goal most of us would want.

Exactly. One could discuss whether it should be described as "software" or "firmware", but we all come with an ability to learn and use language(s) already programmed in.

It's the only acceptable answer. This kind of slavering SciFi is only fun in the movies.
