The most recent example of Digital Storytelling is Pokémon GO, did you know that?

«Summarizing the work of several researchers in this field, Brown, Bryan and Brown labeled these multiple skills that are aligned with technology as “Twenty-First Century Literacy,” which they described as the combination of:
Digital Literacy - the ability to communicate with an ever-expanding community to discuss issues, gather information, and seek help;
Global Literacy - the capacity to read, interpret, respond, and contextualize messages from a global perspective;
Visual Literacy - the ability to understand, produce, and communicate through visual images;
Technology Literacy - the ability to use computers and other technology to improve learning, productivity, and performance;
Information Literacy - the ability to find, evaluate and synthesize information.

Storytelling seems to be a relatively new niche for (cough) “content”. I'd like to call it multimodal material or audiovisual material instead of the vague and foggy “content.” Same goes for other English words that are highly popular but offer empty, um, content, such as “to hack [something]”.
I found the following list of storytelling software for those interested: https://colorlib.com/wp/storytelling-tools/
Obviously, there are many more, some are open-source software, some are cloud-based, etc. ▲ Collapse | | | Mario Freitas Brasil Local time: 05:00 Miembro 2014 inglés al portugués + ... Digital what?? | Jul 18, 2017 |

If it appeals to you, I guess it's OK. Personally, I don't see the fun in it. And it could hardly pay very well. I'll stick with my day job, thank you. | | | Kay Denney Francia Local time: 09:00 francés al inglés haven't a clue | Jul 18, 2017 |
