Texto de origen - inglés This suite of analyses permitte assessment of the possibility that statin effects occurred primairly at a higher BP as someone has proposed or solely through droug interactions with hypertensive agents (e.g. the "synergestic" others have hypothesized). Finally, because of reports that the endothelial benefits of statins (thought to underlie the BP benefits) may fail to extend to subjects with low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) coupled with an absence of observed BP benefits in the CARE study (comprising a low HDL-C sample), we analyzed BP effects in those with HDL-C values above and below the median HDL-C levels.
