volcano's caldera
Per Merriam-Websters:
a crater whose diameter is many times that of the volcanic vent because of the collapse or subsidence of the central part of a volcano or because of explosions of extraordinary violence

Ruth may be right, but a magma chamber is this:
: the underground space usually deep below the earth's surface occupied by magma that may ascend from it to or toward the surface
And I understand the "caldera" to be the crater that is visible at the top of the volcano (visitors often visit these as a tourist attraction)

It is true that the crater is sometimes called a caldera as well. Your translation will depend on the meaning in this particular case.

: Hi, Ruth! In the illustration you posted, the caldera is at the top and the chamber at the bottom (2 diff. things), no?

volcano's crater
I think I am correct in saying that the "caldera" is the crater of the volcano.
In the 6th paragraph of the wikipedia.org page on volcanos it gives you an explanation of the "caldera".

fumarole
it is a hole in the volcano through which it expels smoke and gases
