From a doctor's report under 'antecedentes heredofamiliares', it says 'FIMICOS: NEG'. I found an entry that implies its related to tuberculosis (http://www.portalesmedicos.com/diccionario_medico/index.php/... but I've not been able to find a translation into English.

Meaning, "no family history of TB". Your research is definitely on track; "antecedentes fímicos" is an old-fashioned way of saying "history of tuberculosis" (as "antecedentes luéticos" for "history of syphilis", etc.).

: Your first answer would mean that the patient was tested and found negative for TB, though I agree with your interpretation 'No family history of TB'. Better to spell it out than simply write 'negative'.

: The word "phymic" doesn't appear in the answer to the previous question you've cited (though the asker, for reasons best known to herself, put it in the glossary entry), and as far as I can see it's extremely unusual in English.
