Am I right in thinking that "encontrarme" means "to get to know" in the following text (a photographer talking about his work)?
El tema por los flashes comenzó luego de un workshop ..... Dónde me introdujeron a este nuevo universo de posibilidades que nos brinda el uso de flashes externos.
Tuve ahí mi primera experiencia y al encontrarme con nuevas herramientas y poder seguir aprendiendo cada vez más, eso fue suficiente para agarrarme e interesarme más en el tema.
