This is a feature of a desktop publishing system.
keyframing is publishing jargon. It means locking (setting) the main frame or set of rulers that define the composition of a page. They use "key" becasue if you modify the main frame the design layout is altered, thus this fram is key to mantain the layout altogether.
In Spanish professional editors use "cajeado principal" "patronaje" or "enmarcado base"
