Me pregunto si no tendría que ver con los NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). The NSAIDS are not used in asthma but certain drugs which have anti-inflammatory action on the airways are used and could be called "non-steroidal respiratory anti-inflammatory drugs", NSRIADs. this would translate into Spanish as AIRNEs (AINE = NSAID)and add the R to make it Antiinflamatorio Respiratorio No Esteroideo.
In google I have only been able to find two references to support this and one I see this contains the word "joke", so is it true? The other is in IMS Health:
A global view of companies active in Non-Steroidal Respiratory Anti-Inflammatories - (Dec '01 - Nov '03)
Retail pharmacy sales for the leading 20 companies and their lead product for a therapeutic area. Helping you determine the market size and potential and identify key players and products.
So far, I'm afraid I cannot come up with anything to do with LDIC but am thinking on it.
Hope this helps.
