For meters with flow computers, we have
all five components of uncertainty of corrected
volume. Uncertainty of uncorrected
volume for turbine meters measuring flows
higher than transition flow rate UVm =±1%.
Uncertainty of pressure measurement UPm =
±0.2%. Uncertainty of temperature measurement
UTm = ±0.12%. Uncertainty of data
acquisition system UDA =±0.3%. Uncertainty
of compressibility UZm =±0.1% if AGA-8
Detailed method [7] is used in conjunction
with an on-line gas chromatograph.
(Without a gas chromatograph, NX-19 or
AGA-8 Gross methods are normally used
with permanent settings for specific gravity,
N2 and CO2 concentrations; in this case
uncertainty of compressibility is ±0.4%.)
Using equation (27) to combine all the components,
the uncertainty of corrected volume
is ±1.1%. For flows below transition flow
rate, the uncertainty of uncorrected volume
is ±1.5% and the uncertainty of corrected
volume is ±1.6%.
