Horas de trabajo
los datos se refieren a horas/hombre trabajadas, tanto ordinarias como extraordinarias trabajadas todos los días. Se estima como el cúmulo de horas trabajadas por cada turno sucesivo comprendido en el período.
Los datos sobre horas/hombre trabajadas se refieren sólo a trabajadores de la producción y afines, según se les ha definido anteriormente.
No se reúnen datos sobre horas normales de trabajo.
Los días/hombre trabajados es el total de los cumplidos por trabajadores permanente directamente empleados durante cada mes del año de referencia y representa la suma de trabajadores que han concurrido a cada uno de los turnos trabajados durante todos los días del mes.

1) T is the input time ratio, defined as ratio of the actual number of hours spent on the task to the number of hours available in a manday, i.e., 8 hours. (2) Output in m3.
The effect of the inexperience of the new workers is evidenced by the relatively large T values for similar outputs. The equivalent hourly productivity rates are plotted against progress of work in Fig. 5. It can be seen that whereas on the average experienced hands achieved 1.04m3/hr inexperienced workers achieved only 0.73m3/hr. The hourly productivity of experienced hands was, therefore, 1.4 times that of inexperienced hands. Due to the relatively large float of time available in an 8- hour work day, such differences do not necessarily manifest themselves in the productivity rates per manday.
As expected in task work contracts, no correlation was observed between the level of supervision and the productivity rate per manday.
The average productivity rates measured on the various contractor sites are compared with some DFR suggested rates in Table 5. No attempt is made in these tables to separate the effects of the various factors on the average productivity rates since the individual effects could not be conclusively evaluated in these studies. However, for camber formation and gravel spreading, the quoted values of 50m2/manday were derived from technical quality considerations. It may be noted that these values are lower than the actual average values of 90m2/manday and 86m2/manday measured for camber formation and gravel spreading respectively. The results suggest that the DFR rates for bushclearing are rather ambitious but that the average DFR suggested rates for excavation are lower than the mean output in the field. The results suggests that for several activities, the productivity rates for planning labour-based projects may be different from those achieved on site.

Apparently it is an industrial unit of production: 1 manday = the work done by 1 man on 1 day. If for example it refers to an audit it will be translated as '1 día de auditor´.

Estoy de acuerdo con los matices añadidos. A menudo en los presupuestos de obras se define como:

horas/día/persona

Me parece que este es el término que se usa normalmente.

Más arriesgada, pero parece que hay una Gantt chart o así que refleja los días que se trabajará y el número de personas que trabajará cada día
