cuerda I've never heard it before but it must refer to some land measurement. Here' s the exact sentence: "XX,XXX.XX metros cuadrados, equivalentes a XX.XXXX cuerdas y colinda por el NORTE, con la urbanizaci�n Coamo Gardens.

not enough context, but in PR, per Robb's trusty old business dictionary, <cuerda> = land measure of about 1 acre

so I assume that this is a 1-acre plot, but without a sentence, can't really know.
