Report from  Alina Matei
We were fortunate to have a lovely sunny day, so after meeting at the Slug and Lettuce, we made our way to Soho Square.

It was fantastic meeting so many interesting and extremely friendly people. The conversations soon started flowing, the atmosphere was extremely relaxed... a success, I would say.

I am already looking forward to the next one. Picnics absolutely rock! :)

Postings from ProZians who attended this event

Jun 20 '06  Condi_: My ID was verified within a day or two.
Jun 20 '06  Magan: ID Verification
Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is taking too long but I haven't had my ID verified yet. Have anyone had theirs confirmed or know how long it takes?
Jun 15 '06  Marta Fernandez-Suarez (X): great
Hi,

Thanks again Alina. That date is fine by me.

Looking forward to it.

Marta
Jun 15 '06  John Farebrother: 22nd of July
Sounds good, I'll be there this time
Jun 15 '06  Karine Pellaumail: Would be good!
I should be in the UK this time. I missed the last one as I was in Spain. Ta Alina.
Jun 15 '06  Katharina Wawrzon-Stewart: Great idea...
...but I will be in Poland on July, 22nd. The last weekend in July would suit me better, if this works for the others as well...
Jun 14 '06  Arianna Tremayne: Another Powwow - great!
Dear Alina,
Great idea! I was already waiting in the startbox - ready to confirm my attendance for the next one.
I already look forward to it!
Jun 14 '06  Condi_: Another powwow? Yes, with all of us!
Hi Alina,

Thanks for yr message. It would be nice to meet again.

Regards,

Constanze
Jun 14 '06  Alina Matei: Attendance
I've entered the attendance list again (I'm not really sure I was supposed to, but decided to give it another go).

Let me know if you still haven't got the points, etc in a week's time.

On a lighter note, i was thinking about organising another powwow towards the end of July - around the 22nd, maybe? What do you think?
Jun 12 '06  Marta Fernandez-Suarez (X): yes
Hi Alina

I received the 200 points in my account last monday (I think), thank you very much. As for the ID, I don't know, I did not need it verified.

Thank you for doing the powpow and I'm looking forward to the next one at the end of the summer.

Courage with the "tiny-tear-aways"!

Kind regards

Marta
Jun 11 '06  Katharina Wawrzon-Stewart: BrowniZ
Hi Alina,
I haven't received mine either. Inma and I went to another London powwow today - you have to make the most of it while the sunshine lasts :)
Jun 11 '06  Magan: ID Verification
Hi Alina,

I haven't had mine verified, but I haven't had my Browniz either, maybe they just didn't updated yet.

Hope you are enjoying the summer. And everything is going well. Really hot but we can't complain, can we? (for the 4 summer days we have a year!)

Inma
Jun 11 '06  Alina Matei: Verifying identities
Please let me know if your identity still doesn't appear as being verified. I did submit the attendance list, with verification of identities, but am not sure if it has been processed yet. Also, those of you who attended should have had 200 browniz credited to your account. Again, please let me know if you haven't received them and I'll contact the support team to ensure that you do.

I hope you're enjoying the weather. Summer is here!!

Alina
Jun 7 '06  Magan: Powwow for interpreters
Thanks a lot Katharina, central London is a lot better (connection-wise). I have just signed. It can be interesting. Hope to see you there, as well as the rest of you that can join us.
Jun 7 '06  Katharina Wawrzon-Stewart: Powwow for interpreters
Hi - just a quick note. Since some of you mentioned that they would attend the interpreting powwow, if it was in a more central location, here is an update from the organiser:
