Beautiful almost summer like night in Cordoba city... the moon, the stars and then... the expectations, laughter and cheerful atmosphere by the almost 30 ProZians who said "Here I am!"
Thanks to all for coming to this pre Event Powwow which showed, once more, ProZ.com spirit as it most! The special ingredient: a blind date. We knew where to meet but almost nobody new each other ... with only a ProZ T-shirt and the help of Silvia (thanks!!!!) the Powwow started having shape.
My special thanks to those who also helped with bookings (Flor, Lorena, Gabriela, Patricia), took pictures, brought their friends and even made travel arrangements to be there (from Rosario, Santa Fe and even Chile!!). After a good local "picada" personal cards were exchanged, pictures taken and the promises to meet again whenever and wherever possible...
I celebrate this and all opportunities to meet! Kind regards to All and keep in touch ...
It was a great night for all the ProZians who could meet in Cordoba city. Needless to say, the night was awesome and the spirit of the colleagues who met there, even better.
It is always a pleasure to meet translators from all the country, and as Silvina said, even from neighboring countries, for it is a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, anecdotes, and get in touch with great people.
I hope we can meet again in August to celebrate Proz Annual Conference!!!!
