Hello everyone,
A happy (or at least, better) new year to you
Your help would be greatly appreciated as regards the attached documents. They are from deceased family members of mine and we don't know: which type of documents they are and in what language. These family members lived in Russia and may have been Tatars, if that's of any help. This is not work-related in any way, just a personal request. Thanks a lot for any answer/translation in Russian/French/English.

This seems to be written in Tatar Perso-Arabic, but I can't read it.
I hope someone can help you decipher what the documents say.

The print on the top of the page is either Pre-Revolutionary Russian (old spellings, old letters since abolished) or a closely related Slavic language.
It says "name of book".
The rest appears to be handwritten Arabic script. Which, in pre-Communist times in Eastern Europe / Asia, could have been used to write any of dozens of languages.

Advise: make better images, namely, do not use a (bad) smartphone camera, but scan the documents with a good scanner in high resolution and in black-and-white rather than in color. Your images are quite blurred and the Arabic script is relatively difficult to read per se as many letters are very similar and differ only by diacritics.

You mention that the family may be Tartars. This is a good point to start from. However, the Tatar language in the USSR at that time, which is probably 1937 (based on one of the remarks in Russian), used the Latin script (so called Janalif), and later on, since 1939, switched to Cyrillic.
