If you are a translator or interpreter, please join and invite all your translator and interpreter friends and students. We will be posting regular updates on how you can help.
If anyone finds out a way we can help directly as interpreters or translators, don't hesitate to post on Facebook or on this thread.
And if you know of an organization that needs interpreters, over the phone or on the ground, encourage them to join and post on the wall. ▲ Collapse

I have made known to various agencies the fact that we have this group of available language professionals. If anyone knows of agencies that might need help, either in phone interpretation or onsite, please post it here and/or on Facebook.
The IMIA let me know that Creole, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin and Cantonese interpreters and translators will be most in need. Appropriate discussion groups have been set up on facebook for your to present yourselves in those pairs. The link to the Facebook group again is: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=245649094887
And if you do not use Facebook, feel free to write your language pairs here. Thanks. ▲ Collapse
