But I might consider it, given the right circumstances.
I published a memoir in 2012 (which includes references to my translation career) and kept an active blog for a few years (http://www.findingmyinvinciblesummer.info). I'm thinking of returning to the blog.
Currently I'm extracting about half my memoir (to be translated into Portuguese) for publication in Brazil as part of a volume about my late husband.

I'm also working on a popularized version of my thesis on discourse analysis.
Back in the day, I wrote many journal articles and book chapters on different aspects of translation (http://www.murieltranslations.com/linguistics_mt_articles.html)

Yes, I do write, but whether what I write could be described as "content" I'm not sure. Perhaps "discontent"?
I got many magazine articles published in years gone by and wrote lots of short stories, one of which won a science fiction competition and was published in a collection by Victor Gollancz. I still think it's quite effective. The book was translated into German (not by me).

I wrote a few short stories in my younger years and won a prize in high school for writing. In the last 15 years or so, I have been compiling a glossary of Portuguese acronyms and abbreviations, I have 336 pages so far but the problem is that I find new ones almost every day and I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever reach the point of writing the words “THE END”…

Perhaps you could publish a first volume, saying that others will follow.
I hope you do publish this work.
With kind regards,

I’m thinking of publishing it as soon as I finish reviewing it, meaning next year (April/May?), and of doing an annual update.

Mostly for blogs and events, it is primarily a pro bono work. I did an extensive blog writing for the FIT Congress in Brisbane.
I have also published a text book on the Russian speech etiquette (in Russian).

Thankfully, I fill out my agenda with well-paid translations. I'm not interested in jobs that usually pay peanuts. Thank you, but no, thank you.
