Same volume, less money. Why?
Sep 1, 2017
I figure I'm getting a similar amount of work, but a little less money, but I really don't know why. Perhaps the market is adhering more and more to the peanuts and more clients that pay less are getting more work, while more clients that pay more are getting less work?

Availability is what's different
Sep 1, 2017
I'm seeing a bit more work because my availability has increased to some extent and I've been more focused on translating more - but also at a slightly higher rate and a volume that is better for me.

"feel"
Sep 2, 2017
The question asks how we feel, but the choices are about how many translation requests are coming in. A person might get a lot of work, but feel miserable if they are overworked.
To answer the actual question - requests for translation are about the same, and that is quite fine.

A lot better
Sep 2, 2017
Last year I had personal challenges that kept me from working for at least 3 months. This year I'm trying to make up for it. My clients must be picking up on the vibes, because the work is pouring in! At the beginning of August, I was already booked through September.
