I have had no work at all for the past ten days. This autumn so far has been disastrous for work - the worst it has been for five years.

I am at the moment, but it's because I've got a large project on at the moment which will take me up until Christmas to complete. I am keen to keep accepting short jobs from regulars, so I've been working long days and weekends to keep up. I'm happy to do this in the short term, and am looking forward to a well-deserved 2 weeks of eating, sleeping and having fun over Christmas and New Year, with absolutely no feeling guilty for not working! | | | Helen Zinni Italia Local time: 05:11 inglés al italiano + ...

I have many years of experience as a travelling businessman, being practically on my own all the time. That way I got used to sleeping little and working long hours. Recently, I have had lots of large projects, which meant me working llloooooonnnnnggggg hours. Usually I get at 04:00 and get to bed at about 22:00. I am alone all day, (my wife works outside), so therefore, I do not have to fret about paying attention to others. I love my work, and I really enjoy all the time I spend on it.

A month ago, one of my biggest wishes came true and we got us our very own Addams Family Pinball machine, something I have been dreaming about for the last 15 years.
Belive it or not, I have not played a single round of pinball yet. I just don't have the time. E.g. last weekend I worked both weekend days from around 8:30am until 9:00pm to get my stuff done.

Now that I am reading some of the posts, I think I am not going to complain at all and just leave the simple statement: Yes, I work too much, but I definitely prefer working too much to not working enough or not working at all.
I hope it gets better for those of you who are struggling - good luck and fingers crossed!

Sometimes I'm really busy, but I never feel as though I'm working too hard. If I did, I'd cut back a little. In fact, that's what I do when too many jobs come in...I turn them down. But most of the time the pace is just about right, at least for me. | | | Páginas sobre el tema: [1 2] > | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: Are you working too hard?
