: In longman dictory, it means 'difficult to believe and therefore unlikely to be true' which is near to the term'unacceptable'.

Thanks. Without a dict. I would have said "unlikely", but the Larousse -which does not have an entry for IMplausible- includes plausible as acceptable or commenable.
