Help Section
Hi,
Can anyone think of a good translation of the "página de inicio" of the help section of an application? I'm not sure that "home page" works here and the only other option I can think of is "main page" but I'm not sure about that either. The ST author has named the file "help root" but I've never heard this used and I can't find an example on the internet that supports it. Has anyone heard of this?

You can use homepage in internet context, main page in software and general context and tittle page in literature

In any other situation this would be the perfect solution but unfortunately here there is a panel on the left-hand side which is the index of topics and then the "página de inicio" appears on the right panel with a brief description of the help section. At the moment I'm considering using "Introduction to Help Section" for the title and "this is the main page of the Help Section" ("esta es la página de inicio de la Ayuda de...") in the first sentence. I'm still not sure though! |
