Driving Head
The carcase is fabricated from mild steel plates and pressings suitably stiffened and fitted with end angle flanges for jointing to the casing. Fitted with a rubber lagged crowned pulley located on an 817M40T steel (or equivalent) shaft running in pedestal bearings. The cover is split vertically in line with the shaft and flanged horizontally for removal to aid access. Fitted with an internal deflector plate and inspection panel. An Explosion Relief Vent, with microswitch assembly, is mounted in the casing section adjacent to the Driving Head.

No sé si habrá un término más preciso. Pero sí estoy seguro de que se trata de un rodillo con forma bombeada, con mayor diámetro en el centro que facilita que la cinta transportadora se mantenga centrada y no se deslice hacia los lados.
