CONTRACTED

inglés al español Jurídico/Patentes Derecho: contrato(s) Legal warning before buying franchise rights
Hello everyone, I am trying to find the legal term for "contracted" in the following sentence:

"Based upon the financial condition of (the company), the guarantor of our obligations to franchisees, the (a legal entity) requires that we post a surety bond to guarantee that we will fulfill our pre-opening obligations to you. These obligations include offering you the required amount of CONTRACTED for initial business."

Document type is legal FYI information, it is not a contract, more like a "warning" instead. The target audience would be Spanish speaking people living in the US who are about to pay for franchise rights.

Thanks!

There was something missing with the phrase. Source failed to mentioned that the company was offering "INSURANCE" to initiate the business. That is why the sentence made no sense. It should read: "amount of contracted INSURANCE for initial business."

Thank you very much for the lead.

That is how I feel about it too, thanks for your comment. I will check with my client.

Is the sentence complete? I very much doubt it. My first impression is that there is something missing or wrong in your phrase, a noun seems to be missing after "contracted", perhaps "resources" or something similar. I think "resources" could fit well here. Check with your client.

Me parece que la redacción debe ser "amount CONTRACTED" en cuyo caso quedaría bien
