Hi experts,
I have many MS Word files which contain the translation in bilingual form in tables with two columns. The first column has English source and the second column has its Hindi translation in front of the first column.
Is it possible to make a Wordfast memory from such files? If so, please explain the step by step procedure.

I would be grateful if someone else could suggest a simpler method in respect of making Wordfast Pro translation memory from bilingual Word files in which source text and translation is already arranged in tables.

Step 1. Make 2 documents using source and target columns

PlusToyz (free collection of Word macros that can be downloaded from the Files section of the WFC list on Yahoo) has a handy function labelled 'Word table to Trados-like segmented text.'
Once you have converted your tables to "uncleaned" documents, you can clean all of them in one go in WFC and you will obtain a Wf memory.

A WFC memory is a WFP memory, and vice-versa. They have exactly the same format, only their index differs. But what you are interested here is the actual memory (= the file with the .txt extension).
