HELP!! about abnormal characters from html files...

Source Language: Korean
Target Language: Thai
OS: Korean Windows XP
Source file format: XML files including HTML
Used Trados version: 5.5

2. symptom
We can find abnormal characters (they look like black squares) from html files after clean-up process with Translation Workbench. A typo seems to change to be this abnormal black square during cleaning up. We have to erase the squares one by one to fix this problem. Please check belo... See more

We can find abnormal characters (they look like black squares) from html files after clean-up process with Translation Workbench. A typo seems to change to be this abnormal black square during cleaning up. We have to erase the squares one by one to fix this problem. Please check below process concerned with this issue.

3. Problem causing process
1. Open and start to edit a TTX file with Tag Editor.
2. A translator happens to make a typo while editing the TTX file.
3. This typo does not show any problem in TTX file.
4. Finish the editing.
5. Clean up TTX files.
6. Check html files. We can find that the typo changes to an abnormal black square.

I suppose Tag Editor cannot display mistyped characters in Thai. Do you have any solution?
