one did recommend short intensity 20-minute work-outs once (the vigorous kind). I think most agree that a couple of hours' walk or 10000 steps is a nice baseline however.

For some strange reason your post was removed - but I got the email. I agree, it's about enjoying it now. I have enjoyed walking this week and will certainly continue. Thanks for your advice!
I suspect I shall enjoy working while working too mind, but let's see...
Glad to hear it Huw and yes - even when I'm not translating, e.g. out walking, I'm constantly translating anyway, in my head....I'm sure others do that too. | | | Dan Lucas Reino Unido Local time: 21:38 Miembro 2014 japonés al inglés Can't beat a good walk | Jun 1, 2016 |

I find that a good walk is a great way of thinking through things and coming up with new ideas. The problem is forgetting them when I get back home again!

Have you tried mountain biking? Wales is the perfect place for it.

Cardiff is about 30 minutes in the car from the heart of the Brecon Beacons too, depending on traffic. Stunning around there. I sometimes go up there to pick wynberries. | | | Labouring a point | Jun 1, 2016 |
