Hello,
Is it possible to report degrees that are not in the field of translation. Or can I report the degree I have mentioned in resume which is in science not in translations.
Thanks

Hullo Mohammed, I'd say yes, certainly mention your science degree. It could be relevant to your translation work - you could well be offered texts in that field. Best wishes, Jenny.

You can report anything you think relevant. By all means, report your science degree. It indicates that you know something about science and that you have a grasp of good scientific writing. If someone is looking for a translator of science texts, that could well be more important than a translation degree.

Hello Mohammad,
You can report your degree even though it is not in translation. Certainly, it confirms your field of specialization.
Just, send a support ticket to the ProZ staff.
Good luck.
